What is embodied coaching?
In my coaching practice, I meet you where you are on your journey of re/connecting with your worth, understanding your needs, expanding your desires, and integrating intimacy or pleasure into your life. Coaching is a client-driven process. You set the goals for our work together. I support you to reach those goals. We will travel into joyful spaces in the process. We may also explore your edges, spaces filled with fear or shame. When we do, I help you lovingly integrate the information in the shadows.
Embodied coaching is a process that calls on your body’s wisdom as an ally in the work. I integrate somatic techniques to help you to notice the additional information your body holds and to support you through our work together. We may also identify thought and behavior patterns that need to shift in order for you to reach your goals.
There is a helpful article that breaks down the general differences between therapy and coaching that may interest you if you still have questions. Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you have!

How long does the coaching process take?
There is not a clear, set time frame for coaching. Each client’s goals are unique and each individual responds to the process differently. For example, if this is the first time you have sought support with your personal goals, it may take time to adjust to the discovery process. While I do not set time limits on the duration of working with a client, I have developed a 5 session approach which has been effective with many clients. I have packages available for 5 sessions, which can be redeemed within a 3-month period. If additional support is needed at that stage, we can make a plan for continuing our work together.

Do you offer any equity pricing?
I reserve space in my practice for sliding-scale clients. I have a waiting list for queer, trans and BIPOC clients and/or anyone experiencing financial hardship. To be added to the waiting list, please email me at sarah@sarahtomtom.com.
